I often bring you here to our table when there is sunshine. It was Sunday morning, and unlike weekday breakfasts, the three of us were eating together. I made cream scones with spelt flour, and filled a bowl with defrosted strawberries from our farm share. I took a few quick photos!
We had our own good time. A proper reservation for the two of us at a Japanese restaurant. A Sam Adams Octoberfest for me, and a bubble gum flavor Japanese soda for her. We shared shrimp dumplings, edamame, noodle soup, and soba noodles with chicken. We talked about Friday night's school dance, and what's on our Christmas lists. She told me she likes spending the holidays at home.
