Trying The Diana

Prior to our St. Augustine vacation, I bought myself a Diana camera.  I am itching to try film again, and this is a fun and inexpensive way to explore. The light is so beautiful and plentiful there, I figured it was a great opportunity to experiment.

Naphopomo: Day Five

August was a big month photography-wise.  I participated in two month-long challenges. The images I chose to share with you today are both from our trip to St. Augustine, Florida.

Naphopomo: Day Three

Continuing to bring you up to date here, at the end of June into July, I took a 10 day photography course unlike any I have experienced before. It was about allowing ourselves to be vulnerable and see with our hearts.

Chicago

Right before school started, we took our first trip to Chicago.

People at home asked us, "Do you have family or friends there?"  I suppose this major American city doesn't seem like a vacation destination.

I was in awe of Chicago's scale and style, and I found the art and architecture to be incredibly inspiring. I've picked a handful of photos from our days exploring the city to share with you.
